Nice piece, it has a really intense sound. Like it :D

I really like this song, it gets awesome at the :31 mark. Fun sounding piece :)

This is a really cool piece. I love exotic sounding music, and I think you really nailed this one :)

Neat loop. It sounds really nice and high quality. Great mixing!

Well if infinite orangutans ever started spawning and taking over the earth, I'd hope this song would be looped perpetually in the background whilst we bow down to our new orangutan overlords.

Gave me shivers. This song is cool because it's have elements happiness, yet they're so hidden behind the haunting feeling given off by the sad and slow strings and the somewhat bassy sounding piano. My only qualm with this song, is that it isn't long enough. I would have loved to have heard this a full piece with a bit of progression! Keep up the great writing

Wow, thanks :) I appreciate this review more than you can imagine. I will certainly keep working :)
I'm very happy you liked it. I would normally have made it longer, but I sort of "gave up" and decided to make it a loop.

Pretty piece. I know "pretty" is a weird word to use when talking about this kind of music, but I found this to be a very happy, peaceful song! Keep up the writing, you've got a cool sound!

Like your other song I reviewed, this has a really cool feel. I really like the piano melody and the strings, and the choir gives it an almost haunting feel. My one criticism about this song is that I think it would have fit together better without the distorted sub bass sound in the background. It felt like it conflicted with the theme of "hauntingly beautiful" or at least, that's the theme that I got from it. Either way, another really cool piece, you've got talent my friend.

Mawnz responds:

Thank you for the review, and the kind words. I widened the bass in this version so I kinda agree that it conflicts. My intention was to make it all sound a little deeper, but that is more the case when the bass was not widened. I'm considering changing versions. Thanks again, much appreciated!

Awesome! Kind of reminds me of a really old game I used to play when I was a kid on my windows 95, called Laser Age. I could see this piece fitting in nicely in a variety of different game genres, but the feeling I got from this is definitely that of an epic space battle. Really like this piece, it has a really professional sound, and a really cool feel!

Mawnz responds:

Glad you think so :) Thank you very much for taking your time to listen and leaving a review! I'll make sure to check your stuff out.

This piece is odd and quirky, but that's the allure and charm of it! I think this is a really awesome piece. By the way, what VSTs and whatnot did you use to get the awesome 8-bit sounding synths? They sound pretty much exactly like the sound I'm looking for to write one of my next compositions :D

EctiBot responds:

So sorry. I totally forgot to respond to this review :/.
You have no idea how happy it makes me knowing that you liked it as much as you did :D.
I actually tried to get that quirky feel in it.
For the Vst's I used mainly nexus and i think I might have used a 3xosc too.

I've been playing music my whole life, and more recently have started trying my hand at composing. I write emotional orchestral arrangements and RPG style music mainly, so check out my music and leave your comments.
